An Update and a BIG Announcement!!

So, first the most important part, an update to all our current backers!
We just finished moving into our new house, which has three rooms dedicated to Dragon's Claw Tabletop, including a 2-car garage that we are lining with workbenches! We've always been a home-based business, but now it's more like we live in our workshop/studio, and we couldn't be happier! The move, like all moves, was hectic and difficult and stressful, but it's done! We plan on posting some photos to our social media soon to show off the new space!
The other big news is that almost every single Leather D20 case is finished and we're working on packing and shipping! International backers are starting to go out as well, and the few cases that are not already finished are from late survey responses (but yours are already in the works!)

We launched our second Kickstarter!
We planned to launch this much sooner, but we held it back so that we could get more caught up on our Leather cases as well as finish our move. We thought it only fair that all the backers from our Leather Kickstarter would see the progress here before we made the announcement for our next project, so that you know we are not forgetting you!
Our goal is to have every Leather D20 shipped out before our next campaign ends so that we can shift focus immediately to fulfilling "The Nautilus", and with our new workspace we hope to speed up the entire process so that we can launch our next Kickstarter even faster!

Remaining shipments and International Backers

Sorry for the delay on this update everyone, the holidays were a bit crazy for us. Not in a terrible way, just a lot of new things all at once!
The good news is that we are wrapping up on fulfillment, including international backers!
All U.S. backers (with the exception of two late surveys which are being worked on now) should be shipped out on Monday, and Canadian backers will be shipped later in the week.
For European backers, we will be messaging you individually regarding shipping, since we do have two options for you now. Since two of us are moving to Finland, we can make room to bring your D20 bags with us, which means you would not have to pay any sort of VAT or Import tax. For any European backers who would prefer shipping as soon as possible, we should be able to get it out to you next week regardless.
And here's some wonderfully crappy cell phone photos of some of your finished D20s! Yay!

Okay, so as you guys know we had some issues integrating the backerkit system in our surveys, and that set us behind on getting started with production (We could only do a minimal amount of work until we got the surveys and knew which designs and colors were chosen.)
The GOOD NEWS is that now that the ball is rolling, things are going faster than expected! We're already ahead of our revised schedule, and if things keep going smoothly, we should see *ALL* backers receiving their entire pledge in time for Christmas!
Which is also good news because it means we are almost done with the laser-focused part of our fulfillment (we're working now on staining, stitching, and assembling the lids).
The best part about that.... it frees up our laser! So, we're already designing something new on the laser while we stitch!
Here's a sneak peek at our follow-up kickstarter!
Now, we want to make sure all of you know, that the work we'll be doing on this design will not be taking any of our focus off the leather D20 cases, which are our #1 priority. The beauty of having a laser is that once you put the design in, it runs on it's own, so it's like having an extra person in the shop! (Unfortunately, despite our programming efforts, the laser can't stitch leather, so we're giving it another task!)
Our current plan is to develop the prototypes and examples for our upcoming Wooden D20, but we do not plan to launch that campaign until later in the month, so that we can make absolutely sure that we are not falling behind on leather D20 fulfillment.
Also, once that campaign is launched, it will be running for 30 days before we can even send surveys, so that's another month of focusing entirely on the Leather D20s!
If we time it all just right, you should be getting your Leather D20s at the same time our new set of backers (and any of you who pledge for both) are filling out surveys for the wooden version!
If we can keep that pace up, the only limit is our imagination, and you should see all the design ideas we have sketched out!

Does that make me sound weird? I think it makes me sound weird...
So, great news, leather is burning and staining already! We've also finished most of the add-ons (coasters, keychains, etc..) ahead of time, so we can focus on dice bags!
For those who ordered custom lids, keep an eye on your message inbox, we'll be contacting you soon. Don't worry, it only takes us a moment to burn a custom lid, and it's literally the last step in construction!
We'll be posting update photos soon, and the first shipments should go out at the end of the month!

Alright everyone, thank you so much for your patience, we got all the shipping concerns resolved! Surveys should be waiting in your emails right now!
Also, we've launched a pre-order store that you can share with any friends who you think would enjoy a D20 case of their own! Backers of the kickstarter will have their pledges met first, before any pre-orders are produced, so if you want them to get it at the same time, you can add another D20 to your pledge as a backer, but pricing would be the same either way.

A quick note about the custom engraved lids: We want to do more than just put a name or a quote on there in a pretty font, and we're not swamped with requests for them, so instead of a question on the survey we are going to contact everyone who adds a custom lid to their order directly and discuss exactly what you'd like to have engraved on it! The lid insert is the last step in production so we have lots of time to plan with you to get exactly what you want engraved!
